With the show season finished, Red has matured into a truly nice young horse with a great personality. From March until the first week of October, Red was ridden daily, except for Sundays and has shown that he has an extremely well timed natural saddle gait, as well as the composure to show in the ring.

SSHBEA Annual Spotted Saddle Horse World Championship Show:

Red showed four times in the fall show. On Wednesday night, he first appeared in an open riders' 2 yr old trail pleasure class featuring 26 fine horses and finished a strong 4th. Later that evening he was shown in the 2yr old Amateur Trail Pleasure class against 28 other entries and finished a very respectable 6th. On Friday night we showed him in the 2 yr old Model class and he finished 5th out of 8 (not bad considering he was the youngest horse in the competition). Finally he showed in the 2 yr old Trail Pleasure Grand Championship class on Saturday night and finished a very strong 6th against 10 of the top trail pleasure horses in the breed. Over all we were extremely excited about his exceptional performance throughout the season and in the championship competition. 

In 2002, Red has been in the show ring only twice, as an Amateur owned and trained trail pleasure horse, taking home the fourth place ribbon each time. He has also been ridden on the trails and has done very well. Red stands at 15 hands, has great endurance, and has a personality that will immediately win you over. At three years old, he still likes to play and is always ready for a ride.
